Change Player View Distance

Sets the personal render distance for a player.

This action changes the server-side render distance for a specific player. This can be used to create fog-like effects or to optimize performance in large maps.

Configuration

  • View Distance: The new render distance in chunks. Can be linked to a Number/Decimal Property.
  • Target: The Player to affect.

Use Cases

  • Creating a "blindness" effect by setting the view distance to 2.
  • Increasing the view distance in open areas and decreasing it in tight corridors to manage performance.
